Start seeing GP’s Face to Face again

What the petition asks
We can already travel public transport, sit in a theatre, pub or restaurant. We have to see dentists and chiropodists face to face. All that separates us is a mask. Well let’s wear masks if needs be, but allow us to see GP’s face to face again.
Parliament made the rules, therefore it’s parliament job to reverse the rules.
I also believe this will remove pressure on A&E as people won’t take it upon themselves to find the only way to see a doctor is via a hospital as first port of call.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
There are no Government restrictions that prevent GPs from holding face-to-face appointments. Decisions relating to GP appointments, including decisions on whether face-to-face appointments are appropriate, are operational matters for the NHS and individual GPs, not the UK Government or Parliament.
