What the petition asks
Make sure the residents of our town are properly protected and serviced by a fully equipped police station
We want Government to intervene and stop the closure of the police Station in Royal Sutton Coldfield and restore it to it previous standard of service to the town.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about the closure of local police stations are a matter for the local police force, not the Government or Parliament. As a result it is not possible for the Government or Parliament to take the action you have requested.
