What the petition asks
Reintroduce Capital Punishment for Crimes Against Humanity, including murder and imprisonment, when committed as part of a widespread or systematic attack directed against any civilian population.
I am proud of my MP Sydney Silverman, for introducing the legislation that banned capital punishment in 1965, but these are new times.
We believe Capital Punishment should be reintroduced for Crimes Against Humanity. This should ensure that government actors who commit crimes against humanity against the citizenry face appropriate consequences.
