Petition · past parliament

Reverse the National Insurance hike and replace it with a wealth tax.

Rejected 20 signatures

What the petition asks

Have a parliamentary debate and vote on replacing the National Insurance hike with an increased wealth tax on the UK’s richest citizens.
There is already a cost of living crisis in this country. People are being stretched to breaking point. The people have suffered enough through years of Tory austerity and shouldn’t have to pay more when the Government wastes so much on frivolous excesses like the recent £500,000 private flight to Australia.

It’s now time to tax the exorbitant wealth of the richest in this country. If we are truly “all in this together”, it’s time for them to pay their fair share.
