What the petition asks

Children under the age of 16 can consent to their own treatment if they're believed to have enough intelligence, competence and understanding to fully appreciate what's involved in their treatment. This is known as being Gillick competent.

Children under 16 should not be allowed to make this decision as they would not fully understand what is in the vaccine or fully understand the risks involved.
The age consent must be changed back to 16 for ALL MEDICINES.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
