Boris Johnson to resign as Prime Minister
Rejected
13 signatures
What the petition asks
Sue Grey’s report has found that there has been "failures of leadership and judgment by different parts of No 10 and the Cabinet Office" and "some of the events should not have been allowed to take place”.
As Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has shown a disregard for the people of the UK. His leadership has created a culture of entitlement, whereby his employees have not followed the laws that had been put in place by their employer. He needs to accept full responsibility and set the example for the rest of our elected leaders and resign.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
We can't accept petitions about honours or appointments, which includes calling for Ministers or the Government to be sacked, resign, or to be subject to a recall vote or a vote of no confidence.
