What the petition asks
The cost of a residents permit for a fully electric car is £25 per year, for any motorbike it is £60 and there is no option for electric motorbikes. The council are not prepared to change this ‘at this time’.

I’m requesting that all London councils review their motorbike parking charged and set a reasonable tariff for parking a fully electric motorbike or moped, relative to the electric car charge.
Electric motorbikes are becoming more common and should be accommodated for like all other electric vehicles, they reduce pollution and congestion on our roads and it shouldn’t be prohibitively expensive to park one outside your home.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise.
Decisions on the cost of parking permits, and whether to review the cost of permits for electric motorcycles, are a matter for local councils, not the UK Government.
