What the petition asks
More funding for NHS staff training to support & cater for the basic needs of Spinal Cord Injury patients when being re-admitted to a general hospital
This petition is asking for more funding for the NHS & their staff, to receive the necessary training to support those with SCI & cater for their basic needs, when admitted to a general hospital.
The current lack of knowledge , understanding & training is putting people with SCI at risk of further illness or disability.
This is not just a health issue but a human rights issue & more funding is required to ensure NHS have the training they need, to support SCI patients.
