Make the £200 Government Energy Bill loan an option rather than automatic
Rejected

What the petition asks
I would like the Government to re-think this and make it optional as opposed to something which happens automatically and give people a choice!
This is a loan which has to be paid back, this is forced debt upon every single person who pays an energy bill and should be optional. I don’t want to pay an extra £40 a year for 5 years. I’d rather just not have this energy bill loan.
Why it was rejected
