Ban Jetskis from coastal waters and inland waterways

What the petition asks
Jetskis are a hazard to wildlife and the natural environment, often being driven too fast for wildlife and people to respond and get out of their way. Users sometimes harass and chase wildlife, they are often unable to see some flora and fauna which lies just below the surface.
Our wildlife is in crisis and we must respond quickly. There have been promises of more protection and reversing declines. Jetskis are designed for speed and thrills and in many cases are used in fairly shallow waters. They are not compatible with the protection of our marine environment in coastal waters and inland waterways. Important flora and fauna can be harmed and disturbed by these speeding motorised water craft. Swimmers and divers can also be at risk of harm. We need an outright ban
