Let international music students earn money by performing during their studies.

What the petition asks

Tier 4 International Students are legally not allowed to work as entertainers even when they are studying music as their main study. As entertaining is the reason for making a substantial move to the United Kingdom they should have to right to do paid performances to gain experience while studying.
Students pursuing other studies can gain paid experience within their fields, such as medical students applying to work in hospitals or educational students can work as an assistant in a school, etc. International musicians not being able to have the same opportunities in their field of study is unreasonable and unfair. International music students have moved great distances to further their careers and should not be held back by a condition in their visa that has no reason for being there.
