Introduce lower rates of income tax for pension income

What the petition asks
The Government should recognise the contributions of pensioners over their working life and reward this by implementing lower tax rates on pension income, rather than applying the current rates of income tax.
Many pensioners are having to keep working to try and make up the shortfall create by having to pay full income tax.
Pensioners should be able to benefit from the working life contributions and enjoy retirement without having to worry about the deductions at the full rate of income tax.
