AEDs for all Educational Settings
Rejected
10 signatures
What the petition asks
We want the Government to make it a health and safety law that all educational settings must have an AED on site. It is law to have fire extinguishers, first aid kits etc on site. It should be the same for AEDs
A defibrillator can increase a person's chance of surviving a cardiac arrest from 10% to 70%. We have been fundraising for 10 years for public access defibrillators. We have ensured every school in Thurrock now has a defibrillator on site. There are 100's of schools and colleges around the country with no defibrillator and no access to one locally.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
