What the petition asks
Stop HS2 from blocking footpaths without making provision for the path to continue to be used i.e a bridge over the works as originally planned
HS2 stated in all propergander work would be done with minimal interruptions but HS2 are blocking off roads and pathway's with no attempt to make bridges over working to keep pathway open
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about the impact of HS2, but we're not sure if you want HS2 to be required to provide alternative footpaths during construction of the new rail line, after it is completed, or both.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
