What the petition asks
Thousands of children with special needs are struggling in mainstream schools and need specialist provision. More school spaces need to be made available for these children.
More and more houses are been built in the Wakefield district and there are only 2 Local Authority Special Education Schools.
There are 4 resource centres but not enough to cater for the 1000s of children who are struggling in mainstream school.
