Have the Bivalent Vaccine and DFMO brought to the UK to treat Neuroblastoma

What the petition asks
We would like the Bivalent Vaccine and DMFO trial brought to the UK so that Neuroblastoma can be treated within the UK.
Families who have a child with Neuroblastoma are having to fundraise to raise huge amounts to travel abroad for lifesaving clinical trials to reduce the chance of relapse in the future. Unfortunately Neuroblastoma has a very high relapse rate therefore these clinical trials are vital to reduce the chances of a child's cancer returning again.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for. Decisions about who can participate in clinical trials are a matter for the organisation operating a trial, not the UK Government or Parliament.
Once these treatments have completed clinical trials and been authorised for use in the UK by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, we could accept a petition calling for the Government to provide funding to make them more widely available.
