Require the Royal Mail to continue to accept non-barcoded postage stamps

What the petition asks
The Government should exercise its powers to issue directions to a universal service provider of postal services, to require the Royal Mail to continue to accept non-barcoded postage stamps after January 2023.
From February 2023 stamps without barcodes will no longer be valid. While people will be able to swap older postage stamps for new ones, ceasing to accept older postage stamps could significantly disadvantage many, and especially those groups who rely most on Royal Mail post.
