Provide Free FFP2 masks to Extremely Clinically Vulnerable people & their Carers

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Extremely Clinically Vulnerable people, (e.g. those undergoing chemotherapy & organ transplants) are at hugely increased risks of catching, becoming severely ill, & dying from Covid despite following all government advice on vaccines & shielding, because their immune systems can't build protection.
ONS data shows that 60% of deaths from COVID have been disabled people.

The infectious no longer have to quarantine & the vulnerable need protection. FFP2's offer a sensible solution meaning the NHS would be able to get back to full operational capacity.

SAGE statistics (10/9/20) show FFP2's reduce penetration by contaminants to just <0.01%, as opposed to cloth masks which have a penetration rate of 97%.

Provision of FFP2s must be free as 42% of disabled people live in Poverty (Scope, 02/21).
