What the petition asks
As a key member of the United Nations, the UK should take action to allow Ukrainian Citizens to seek refuge in the UK and provide them with initial assistance with accommodation for the period which there is ongoing conflict in Ukrain.
As a country on European territory and key member of the United Nations, it is believed that the UK has a duty to assist the citizens of Ukrain in times of conflict which seriously threatens the lives of millions of innocent people. Just as other citizens in danger and in areas of conflict are allowed to seek asylum and refuge in the UK, the rules and support for Ukrainian nationals should not be any less.
