Stop financial associations with Putin and the Russian Federation
Rejected
17 signatures
What the petition asks
Scrutinise funding streams, both shareholding and donations and insist individuals and organisations including political parties cease any financial associations with individuals and organisations associated with the Kremlin and the Russian Federation.
Put pressure on Putin to withdraw from the Ukraine by ceasing to have financial dealings with those close to him or members of the Kremlin and more widely with the Russian Federation
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Decisions relating to the acceptance of donations to individual political parties are a matter for those parties, not the UK Government or House of Commons.
