Reduce visa restrictions for Ukrainians wishing to seek refuge in the UK

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

We find the governments lack of response to the constantly mounting refugee crisis grossly insufficient and wish for them to make changes to the visa system for Ukrainians wishing to seek refuge in the UK as soon as possible.
The United Kingdom has a time honoured tradition of providing refuge or asylum to those fleeing war or prosecution but as of yet has made no changes to provide refuge for those fleeing the war in the Ukraine.

The latest UN figures estimate 378,000 have already fled Ukraine with over 7 million displaced. Other European countries have opened their arms to welcome them in but so far the UK has made no significant effort or change to do the same. It is a disgrace which we must remedy immediately.
