What the petition asks

We believe that all Ukrainian people have a right to safe refuge from the aggression of Vladimir Putin. The UK Government’s allowances for close family of Ukrainians settled in the UK do not go far enough. We call on the government to waive all visa requirements for Ukrainians during this conflict.

Other countries in the EU have already thrown open their doors to help with the humanitarian crisis inflicted on an innocent country by Putin. We should do the same. It is the right and humane thing to do to share the load with our friends on the continent and in Ireland.
