Link any MP’s pay rises to an average of those across the emergency services
Rejected

What the petition asks
Directly correspond any annual pay rises granted to members of parliament with that of the emergency services.
For example, add the pay rises granted across the police/fire and national health service and divide by 3.
Also do away with all subsidised bars and restaurants within the palaces.

Government continually interfere or fail to comply with supposed independent pay review bodies dealing with our emergency services.
Linking them to their own pay increases would go some way to restore the feeling that there is some measure of equality of treatment.
