Rescind Gavin Williamson's proposed Knighthood, given his failure/s at Education
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
We 'ordinary British people' have unfortunately been obliged to swallow a great deal of unsavoury / substandard political behaviour in recent years, but Williamson's havering ineptitude over our crucial Education sector was a glaring example that absolutely does not merit further reward.
This is the man who comprehensively failed to steer the public education and exam sectors through the challenges of the Covid pandemic and lockdown/s: surely more a disgrace than a case for any establishment reward?
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
We can't accept petitions that relate to honours and appointments, which includes calling for an honour to be removed.
