What the petition asks

During the current climate, petrol, diesel and household energy prices have increased and caused a strain of the cost of living and affordability of working.

By reducing the tax percentage on these catagories cost could be back at an affordable and reasonable level.

Both workers and people on benefits will both benefit from this, the cost of delivering food and ingredients to factories and stores will increase as the delivery prices rise because of fuel prices. People are on a lower expendable income after paying energy bills and more people will driven into the poverty catagory having to choose between heating and food. More people will be driven into unemployment as the cost of getting to their place of work out weighs their income.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
