Tax break on petrol/diesel
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
Due to the crisis in Ukraine petrol has reached £1.60 plus per litre and £1.70 a litre for diesel. Fuel duty is 57.95p per litre, with a further 20% VAT on top! We deserve a tax break until things get back to normal!
Our cost of living has shot up with the increase of fuel costs on top of this years 50% price hike on gas and electricity. Our wages have stayed the same, so how can we afford this dramatic price increase? Fuel duty needs to be halfed, at least!
