Parliament to discuss a 'Zero Farage' Referendum

What the petition asks
To stop the abuse of our democracy by over-opinionated elderly men forging campaigns funded by wealthy individuals with too many connections to Russian businesses and financial assistance.
There are legitimate concerns that individuals with close connections to Russian Oligarchs or other Russian interests are funding campaigns which seek to bypass and destabilise our Parliamentary democracy. This concern, especially in the current environment, need to be properly addressed. It is not enough to sanction the Russian Federation, and arm Ukraine -- we need to ensure such malevolence towards liberal democracies cannot shape/influence what decisions are made and how in this country.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We understand you are concerned about the way political parties are started and who funds them and why, but it's unclear what specific action you would like the Government to take.
You could start a petition asking for changes to the way political parties and campaigns are funded if that is something you would like to see happen.
