Stop funding the Russian War Machine
Rejected
10 signatures
What the petition asks
An immediate cease of all gas, oil, petroleum and minerals from Russia. The money we use to buy these items is funding their war effort.
With a power supply shortage we may have to endure rolling blackouts, we may have to reopen old power stations, we may have to ration power, we may have to get creative in reducing power demands. All of these are achievable and will have the support of the nation. All of these pale into insignificance when compared to the suffering right now of millions of innocent people. Russia is trying to wipe an entire nation off the face of the earth. It does not even recognise Ukraine as a sovereign state.
