Do not reduce funding for Covid research

What the petition asks
The Government should reverse its decision to reduce funding for covid research projects, including the Zoe Covid Symptom Study.
The UKHSA has put millions of pounds into supporting these projects, which have provided reliable and unbiased sources of data on the progress of the Covid pandemic. The technology promises huge potential for looking at a wide range of other health conditions, as well as being a potential tool to help minimise the impact of any future pandemic.
The cost benefit ratio of further support for these projects is surely huge, and is the sort of action that only Government can take.
