What the petition asks
Let us take our exams open book to compensate for the trauma from the pandemic.
Not everyone is over the paranoia caused by the pandemic, and its really unfair to ask the major of students to gather in order to undergo a further stress from exams.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Exam arrangements at individual universities are a responsibility for them as autonomous businesses, not the UK Government or Parliament. If you have concerns about your university's exam policy, you could contact them. You can find out more about how to raise a complaint against your university here: https://www.officeforstudents.org.uk/for-students/ofs-and-students/complaints/complaints-about-a-university-or-college/
