bring awareness to the topic of neurodiversity within schools

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

I believe that those who are in a hierarchy of power in England should be doing more campaigning on spreading awareness of neurodiversity within communities
A lot of those with learning difficulties get singled out for being quote-on-quote, "different" rather than being helped or supported with a condition they were born with or developed over time, some neurodiverse people don't understand why they should be treat differently, and their friends and peers that DO understand them may have a difficult time knowing how to help and spread awareness effectively

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you're concerned about the lack of awareness of neurodiversity, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

We have published the following petitions, which you might like to sign:

Fund free neurodivergence screening for all children: Fund free neurodivergence screening for all children

Add hidden disabilities to the national curriculum: Add hidden disabilities to the national curriculum

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
