Use the Nightingale hospitals to safely house Ukrainians fleeing from war
Rejected
20 signatures
What the petition asks
The hospitals have not been used to their full potential and until better housing can be found these could be used. They already have water, heating and electricity. Help these poor souls. Ukrainians need safety.
We have a moral duty to support Ukrainians fleeing their country, finding homes may take far to long. We have resources in the Nightingale hospitals that could be utilized for families to get them some safety.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about where to house Ukrainian migrants are an operational matter for the Home Office and individual local authorities.
