What the petition asks
The UK needs to recognise the immeasurable contribution that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has made to the Western ideas of freedom, democracy and the right to self determination.
President Zelenskyy has shown immense courage and fortitude in standing up to the unprovoked invasion by Russian forces. He is fighting not just for the benefit of Ukraine but the benefit of everyone in Europe and the West against an aggressive warmonger with far superior fire power but far inferior morals and character.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
The Government will only accept individual nominations, not petitions, so we can’t publish your petition.
