Remove the visa requirements for Ukraine refugees to enter the country

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

Use the now discontinued, but working, Passenger Locator Form system as the data collection vehicle, to enable Ukrainian refugees to enter without having to wait.
Once in the country, they can then apply on either of the Family or Home for Ukraine programmes
At the moment, there is huge demand on the UK Visa and Immigration department and they are clearly under resourced to deal with this. This is causing indeterminate waiting periods in the countries adjoining the Ukraine border (Poland, Slovakia, Moldova, Romania). If you allowed refugees who have family or friends in the UK, to travel having only completed a PLF, then when they are in the UK, the visa application process could be commenced, but you would have details of where they are.

Why it was rejected
