Demand action to improve conditions in state owned social housing.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Allocate a greater budget towards social housing & care, also to make efforts towards renationalisation of social housing.
We live in Lambeth, a borough that sees much poverty and lack of social housing. We therefore believe that the government is not doing all it can to eradicate the disgusting conditions that many people go through. Also, it is clear that without good housing people very easily fall into the cycle of committing crimes, so it is vital that to combat the root of the problem the government must put more effort and time into our citizens' homes.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you're concerned about the condition of some local authority housing, but it's not clear if you want the Government to provide additional funding for social housing (and social care), change how social housing or managed, or do something else.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
