Grant all Ukrainians living in the UK for 5 years Indefinite Leave to Remain

What the petition asks
Due to the current situation in Ukraine, the Government should make all Ukrainians who have been living legally in the UK for the past 5 years eligible for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR).
Currently non-UK nationals, including Ukrainians, are only eligible for ILR after 5 years of continuous living in the UK only in limited circumstances (such as, if they have spent 5 years on a work visa or 5 years on a marriage visa).
However, time spent on certain visas, such as student or intra-company transfer visas, doesn’t count. In that case a Ukrainian would have to spend 10 years in the UK before they are allowed to apply.
