Require schools have at least three physical education lessons a week

Closed 17 signatures

What the petition asks

We believe there should be a minimum of three physical education (PE) lessons per week in schools.
The NHS recommends children and adolescents ages 5 through 18 years should do 60 minutes (1 hour) or more of moderate-to-vigorous intensity physical activity each day. Many children across the country do not achieve this, and requiring schools to have at least three PE lessons per week could have a real benefit.
