What the petition asks
Everything has increased this April and many people have been forced into the poverty gap and will not only have to decide whether to have the heating on or eat but also have their mental and physical health affected which will impose more on NHS resources
The people of the UK need more help. Make the help from them universal. Reinstate a £20 payment to all on benefits and universal credit and similar benefits until things improve.
Make the £200 payment earlier and non repayable also take note that single people on benefits have the same bills to pay as others leaving less disposable income
