Prevent schools from contributing towards childhood eating disorders.

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

Stop subjecting our children to public humiliation by exposing their physical differences in front of staff members and peers.
I am raising the current petition in order to prevent schools from contributing toward childhood eating disorders. According to the NHS over £70M was invested by the government by 2021. However, our children are currently subject to public weigh-ins facing embarrassment and receiving labels regarding their body weight. The implications of such actions are causing children self esteem/ body issues. We therefore recommend private weigh-ins to avoid such consequences.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
