Hold referendum on any privatisation of public service broadcasters

What the petition asks
As well as debate in Parliament, the ownership of public service broadcasters like Channel 4 should be decided by the public.
Public service broadcasters like the BBC and Channel 4 are invaluable parts of British culture owned by the public, so should not be sold at the whim of the government of the day.
Despite a viable, thriving PSB model and overwhelming opposition to privatisation during the Channel 4 consultation, the Secretary of State for Culture is continuing with an unpopular, partisan policy (not in the government's manifesto) to do so.
We call for a referendum on this matter so the public can decide.
