Fund testing for cervical cell changes, regardless negative HPV result

What the petition asks
Under new cervical screening methods only those that test positive for the HPV virus will go on to be tested for abnormal cells. This means that women who are HPV negative will not be tested unless they have symptoms, even though they may have abnormal cells.
I was HPV negative and also had CIN3 which was removed and I thankfully made a full recovery with no further treatment. Under today's methods I wouldn't have been diagnosed at as an early stage and could have faced much more invasive and life changing treatment as a result. I was 27 years old.
This is not only an increased price to the UK taxpayer but also to people's lives. This has to stop.
