Petition · past parliament
schools should not ban skirts because male teachers cant control themselves.
Rejected
13 signatures
What the petition asks
any male teacher who thinks like this should be fired any male teachers who look at minors inappropriately, for female students to still be allowed to wear skirts.
things like this just prove that schools are sexist and agree with double standards, if you dont agree then you either dont have this problem to face or are just sexist in general.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Schools are responsible for setting and controlling individual uniform policies, rather than the Government. If you are concerned about the conduct of teachers in a school, you might want to contact the member of staff who leads on safeguarding in the school.
