Stop the bedroom tax

Closed 106 signatures

What the petition asks

Things need to change to help low income families.

With the price of everything from power, petrol, water, income tax to food all going up but wages and benefits not matching these rises we are seeing more and more people/families struggling to pay for those things
Stopping bedroom tax would be a step in the rite direction for those on low incomes and on benefits in council property.

We as a nation are not doing enough for those on low incomes where some end up on the streets because of not being able to pay for rent etC. It is so bad some have to use food banks, stopping the bedroom tax would mean that those in council property would have a little more money if they did not have to pay the tax. Things need to change to help low income family.
