sex offenders must be on the register for life

What the petition asks
reform sentencing for sex offenders
sex offenders are are being given light sentences and they should be on the register for life and not allowed to be housed in communities near children or schools.every day i read the news and another sex offender has been 'awarded a light sentence . they are not being punished. i find it very unfair the sentences handed for drug posession are harsher than a sex offender. drug offenders can change with the correct health support. a sex offender remains a sex offender and will not change.
