Don't send migrants overseas
Rejected

What the petition asks
The agreement signed by the Home Secrtary to send asylum seekers who attempt to cross the English Channel to Rwanda is inhumane and Parliament must reject the Minister's attempt to shift responsibility to a poor country 4000 miles away.
This agreement is the consequence of the government seeking to appeal to extremists and does not represent the wishes of a civilised nation. Announced on Maundy Thursday when Christians remember Christ's command to love and serve those in need and seek to act on it, the move - never debated by Parliament - flouts any sense of social decency at a time we are are of the misery many are seeking to escape in Ukraine and elsewhere.
