Petition · past parliament

Stop taxing those earning under £25,000 per annum.

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

With the new April minimum wage & increases in bills, contracts etc. Anyone earning under £25,000 per annum should not get TAXED.
The increases is set to bring a lot more depression, anxiety and difficult times ahead. This increase limits a lot of individuals from having a chance at a good life. We need a STOP to taxing those earning under £25,000 per annum.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure if you'd like the income tax and National Insurance threshold raised to £25,000 or for people earning less than this to be exempted from all taxation.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
