Make all H M Government buildings including Downing Street alcohol free
Rejected
9 signatures
What the petition asks
Statutory requirement that alcohol is not present in the work place of H M Government, in the same way alcohol is not permitted in the work place for NHS staff, airline pilots and Network Rail staff.
All decisions made by H M Government and in particular in Downing Street should be free of any influence from alcohol.
It is medically accepted that alcohol impairs judgement and increases risk taking behaviour and it is not accepted in a multitude of workplaces.
As Parliament and H M Government makes decisions that effect the country and its citizens it is clear that alcohol has no place in this work environment.
