Make cycle helmets compulsory
Rejected

What the petition asks
We need to discuss the possibility of making the use of cycle helmets law across the UK
In the past 18 years cycling use has increased by 96% - As a result serious injuries have risen by 26% and deaths 5%. Some decide helmets are not worth wearing but scientifically it’s been proven that they SAVE LIVES! School children, commuters, mums, dads, grandparents… let’s make the wearing of cycle helmets compulsory like many of our European neighbours. Let’s save lives.
