Make Gluten Free Prices Cheaper

What the petition asks
This is why gluten free food should be cheaper! I can’t really help that I am Gluten Intolerant! To put this in perspective, a normal full sized Loaf of bread, can range between 90p (min) and £3 (max) But a loaf of GF bread is from £2 (min) to £5 (max)! Isn’t that crazy!
The government and shops need to change this issue very soon, as the more money it costs, Gluten free, egg free and wheat free people will become short of money very quickly, and decide to eat cheaper, normal food, creating health problems to occur, which is more strain on the NHS. The prices do need to go down, please sign my Petition to try and help!
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The pricing of individual products would be a matter for suppliers and retailers, not the UK Government or Parliament.
We could accept a petition calling for the Government to fund vouchers or prescriptions for allergy sufferers to subsidise free-from foods, if this is something you would like to see happen.
