Fund minimum of 10 support centres across England for homeless youth

What the petition asks
The Government should fund a minimum of 10 homeless centres across England, aimed, specifically, at vulnerable homeless youth. This funding should support these centres to supply young people with a safe environment and basic necessities, including free sanitary products for women.
Statistics from Centrepoint estimate that nearly 122,000 young people across the UK asked for support from their local council because they were homeless or in danger of losing a home in 2020/21. The pandemic, combined with the increase in the cost of living, has exacerbated social and economic causes, particularly, for young people. We must provide targeted support to help break the cycle of homelessness and the provision of more secure accommodation is essential to achieving this.
